Fun fact: technically, because of its inability to roar and its ability to purr, the cheetah is not a ‘big cat’ (or Great Cat) - they are still classified as Lesser Cats.

watching spiderverse makes me never wanna see another live action movie ever again like. why did we ever start making comic books into live action movies?? make it animated to explore the art form instead of trying to make it hyper realistic you fucking cowards
people calling Gaud’s followers/admirers a cult is honestly appropriate given that a cult can be misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing.
my issue however is now people are like “hey why dont you make a cult around _____ because they’re actually a good person” or unironically making fun of gaud’s underaged fanbase for not finding a cooler person center their entire life around.
its transparently clear that nobody here cares about the issues of being unhealthily obsessive over one particular person and gaining almost nothing in return and just want to treat Gaud as a scape goat, like this sort of unhealthy behavior isnt actually extremely common on tumblr
Singling out Gaud like this is some new, rare problem and not an incredibly common occurrence on tumblr is not helping anybody. You’re not “protecting” children by refusing to talk about more difficult matters like how popular bloggers have a big influence whether they want to accept it or not.
The biggest problem with Gaud is that they didn’t set boundaries around themselves and they’re underaged followers. They didn’t go “hey please don’t idolize me, i’m a normal person”, instead they choose to enable their underaged fans and push them into doing things that aren’t appropriate at their age because it gives Gaud attention and money.
Gaud isn’t the first person to behave like this and they’ll definitely not be the last if you guys refuse analyze your own behavior and how you interact with your followers instead of projecting onto Gaud and labelling yourself as some kind of child caring messiah. I’ve seen an uncomfortably large amount of adults surround themselves with children as friends, exposing them to pornography for “jokes” and manipulating them into doing what they want through promises of protection, gifts and/or threats. Gaud is embarrassing yes but they’re just part of the norm on this site and y’all need to quit avoiding this
